Compass correction

It is possible there is a significant difference between the value supplied by the compass heading device and the real value. This function set a correction added to the value supplied by the compass heading device.

If you see a reference point, you have the possibility to calibrate the compass.
-
Put the reference point on maps below the central cur
-
Aim at the reference point
-
Touch the red lines bounded area

The correction is positive or negative. In the case the correction is >90 or <-90, a warning 'INVALID' is displayed. It is possible to update the correction (buttons + , -).

The compass heading device has to be running a moment before to be steady. A compass calibration improve the reliability.
For the functions displaying the compass value, the correction is displayed before the compass value.
The compass accuracy is also displayed.

When the accuracy field is orange, a calibration may help to improve the reliability
